Lady Midnight Book Review

Hey guyss!! This is it. Time for the book review. Don't worry, there won't be any spoilers. Lemme reapeat NO SPOILERS!!!! Woot woot!! Ain't that nice? Anyways, let's get on to the book review!!

So... As you all know, this is my first ever book review. And the book that I'm gonna review is Lady Midnight. fhsbfsegr Soooo excited mannn! I can't guarantee that this book review will be awesome, but I'll try my best.  Anyways, to me, Cassie-- the author of this book writes so beautifully. When she writes it, reading her book feels like you're watching a movie. I'm not kidding. It's legit the thing. Like... she switches scenes every now and then, to make it more interesting, and not changing the scenes too much to the point that it becomes very confusing. I just luuuuuv the way she writes. I literally couldn't put the book down to the point that I sacrificed my sleeping time. And once my sleeping time is skipped, you'll know that something big is rlly happening.

Furthermore, the 2 main characters. (I guess they're the main characters... but I'm not so sure) fjgseu Julian and Emma... OMG!! They're parabatai right... meaning to say that they are bound to be together. Forever. AKA Best Friends. And, they're just #Friendshipgoals matess. They were there for each other, heal each other, take care of each other and keep each other's secrets. I mean... what else is there to ask if you have a bestie like Julian and Emma. They only have a bit in common, yet they're together. arghhh I wish I had someone like Emma or Julian by my side. Don't get me wrong, I luv luv luv my besties, and nothing's wrong with them, but having someone like Emma or Julian by my side is just gonna be another thing accomplished from my bucket list.

I also really like this book because it feels so real. Like... people from the past (AKA from the past series-- TID and TMI) are mentioned. Tessa and Jem from TID are mentioned in the book, along with Clary and Jace. They're like the older brothers and sisters in Emma's eyes. But, unlike TID and TMI, this series is a lot more modern, it mentions the presence of telephones and laptops (used by Ty and Livvy-- 2 of Julian's siblings). Making it way more modern, hence making us relate to it more easily.

Anywayssss, the plot guys!! The plot! bjfgwukfe I can't!! There are some plot turns in the book, yet betrayal. OMG. The betrayal. Bloody heck! It's so despicable. Likee akgfweuyfgwiu. You know what... if I keep talking about this book and explain about this despicable yet loathsome act. I think... I'm gonna be put to jail and be stoned to death by all of those people who haven't read the book.

The betrayal is the reason why this book is the best compared to the other books she's ever written. Arghhhh I can't. The second book of this series-- The Dark Artifices is called the Lord of Shadows. And guess what guess what!! It's gonna be released in April 2017. Hey! It's my birth month hahahah I wish I could get it earlier than the others, but... I guess I won't get ARCs cuz you need to be such a famous book-related person to get one. Like Sasha Alsberg or something. :(

So sorry that I went off track, and this book review probably isn't even qualified to be called that, but it won't hurt to give it a try right? Thanks for reading this book review, and may you all live in peace.

XOXO,
Jen
