Book Club Snacks 1: Mini Macaroni Cups

4:09:00 AM

O ma glob you guys! I haven't written a blog post in ages!! And I'm rlly sorry for that. I just have loads of things to do *cough* *cough* stewpid school work. And goodness gracious me. I hate school. Like legit H-A-T-E school. Anywho, let's stop rambling about hell aka school, and jump right into this blog post.

Sooooo,  basically, I was registered to a book club in school, and it was... meh. I mean, we're not talking about YA books, and I'm so not down for that. I mean, they're still books, buuuut it's not as good as YA books, I mean.. right? Anyway, we had to stay there for an hour or so, and it was kinda enjoyable, but we lack of food. So I always ended up eating at home. Alone.

Then I came up with an idea to actually make snacks and bring them for book club. Just to make the whole process a bit more fun. But I didn't actually do it since I'm too shy to tell my fellow booknerds. So yeah. I just kept it to myself and will probably use these recipes for my book club in the future.

A bit f disclaimer here, I am by no means saying that I'm a professional cook, but I just wanna tell the world about this awesome recipe that's good for book clubs.

- 4 cups of macaroni
- 1 cup of milk
- 4 eggs
- 3 tsp of salt
- 3 tsp of pepper
- 4 tsp of garlic powder
- 2 tsp of dried basil leaves
- 4 tbsp of chilli sauce (optional)
- Margarine (I forgot to include it in the pic, whoopsies)

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F
2. Boil the macaroni in a pot until it turns soft
3. Whisk together the milk, eggs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, dried basil leaves and chilli sauce
4. Mix in the boiled macaroni to the mixture
5. Brush the cupcake tray with margarine
6. Scoop two tablespoonfuls (depends on the size of cupcake tray you own) of macaroni into the cupcake tray
7. Bake it for 15 minutes

Thanks for reading this blog post you guys! And I hope I'll see you guys soon with another bookish blog post. It'll most likely be an autumn book haul post... but idk. We'll see.

XOXO,
Jen
