Pros and Cons of Reading in a Coffee Shop
7:51:00 PMHey Guyss! Reading is the best thing a person could ever do right? I mean... if you read then you get to live a thousand lives right? #cliché jen. Anywhooo, when it comes to reading in coffee shops, there'll be pros and cons to it right? So, let's get started with the blog post!
A bit of disclaimer right here... I didn't just snap random shots in this coffee shop for no reason. I've earned my permission from the barista that was in charge, sooo technically I'm all good. hahah. Also, I'm not working with Starbucks or anything, but it's my fave coffee shop, so might s well snap loads of pics from there right?? hahah shoutout to you Starbucks!!
The Pros are as follows:
1. The #1 essential for a great read is obviously a great book, but in addition to the great book, comfy seats are dang crucial to make the great book even greater! hahaha
2. You can't just sit in a coffee shop without buying anything right? I mean... it's the law man! hahah just kidding. I mean... the beverages there are great! You won't even believe it!!
3. Admit it. If you're reading at home, you'd be super starved and would go to the fridge every now and then. But, being in a coffee shop will eliminate that distractions. No distractions created by mr. fridge.
4. If your parents are anything like mine, they'll call you every second of your life, and that ain't doing any good to no one. Your reading life will be miserable! hahaha no offense you guys. Not saying that I hate my parents, as a matter of fact, I loooove them. But, they can sometimes annoy you right? Calling you for the dishes and stuff. Being in a coffee shop will help you not get interrupted by your parents' call every now and then.
Although being in a coffee shop is advantageous, there are some disadvantages aka Cons to them, and they are as follows:
1. If you're lucky, you'll find a coffee shop that's not filled with a gazillion people. It's usually pretty impossible to get peace and quiet in a Starbucks coffee shop back at home. They're just too famous not to exist.
2. .Coffee shops that specialise in drive thrus may not have comfy seats. Soooo you can't totally enjoy your book to its full potential. Sure, you can enjoy it, buuuut it just won't be as good without feeling comfy. At least, that's what I think.
All of those things mentioned above are just my opinion. You guys may feel kinda differently for different things, and that's totally up to you. I'm just typing out my opinions into my blog, sooooo yea. Thanks so much for reading my blog post!! ILYSM, and see you laterrrr
XOXO,
Jen
